Nike releases the ‘Moon Landing’ Air Max Lunar90 SP back in 2014, fast forward to March 2019 and we are gifted with a follow-up. The Air Max 90 Mars Landing from Nike is everything you’d want from space-themed footwear, dressed in a Mars Stone and Magma Orange colourway it is hard to argue that this shoe isn’t representative of its inspiration, with a graphic printed on the entirety of the upper which is quite literally the surface of Mars. This otherworldly Nike Mars Landing colourway also features a seamless upper, Metallic Silver on the tongues, Orange on the laces and liner while Black speckled detailing runs across the midsole to complete the look. To take an Air Max staple silhouette and send it blasting into space with this release of the Air Max 90 Mars Landing is truly inspired, and the visual outcome is breathtaking, unique, and something that really does belong, on the surface on our big red neighbour.
